Get ready to compete in teams of two! Our event allows for you to ride in a maximum of three runs per day, where each partner is different in each team, it is one run per partner, so grab your friends and get ready to take on the competition. Join us for an exciting and challenging experience that you won't forget!
Do I need a team to enter?
You can nominate with 1, 2 or 3 partners or let the organizing committee find you your team
How do I enter?
All the details of each competition is found on the Calendar page - each event may have a different form of entry which may include postal, email or online forms to enter.
Recent changes to rider requirements?
All competitors are required to complete a day or annual membership to ride at a Southern NSW Team Sorting event.
It will be required for every competitor to complete a code of conduct form alongside memberships forms.
How do I become a member?
How much is membership?
You can either sign up just for the day or sign up for the entire year!

Open Riders - $25 per year - $20 per day
Junior Riders - $10 per year - $5 per day
Non-competing members - $25 per year

What time do events start?
Generally between 7am - 8am. Make sure to check the event details on the calendar HERE
Can we camp at events?
Events are often held at show grounds, with facilities like power, toilets/showers and water.
It is suggested that you bring your own electric fence or steel fence yards, some yards may available.

Are entries pre paid?
Short answer is Yes!
If you are unable to compete you will need to provide a vet or medical certificate within 7 days of the event commencing
Can you win prize money?
Yes! Prize money is paid to 5th place for each day of competition.
If you place you will get cash on the day!

Some events may even have a prize for the rider with the most cattle sorted at their event!
​
Also make sure to collect as many cattle as you can to qualify for the finals - the Top 50 Open riders and Top 20 Junior riders will be invited to the finals at the end of the season!
